Saw your message Paul, just to let you know Maxford USA has the Neptune similar to the Seamaster, i have been flying mine now for the past 3 months with an ASP61 four stroke. It is the perfect comb. for this plane.Cheers; Joe.

Hi Cougar,Sorry we didnt get to meet up when I was in Windsor,back to when I bought the Seawind there was a battery pack up front a 4 cell rechargable"D" home soldered, it weighed 16 oz Im sure this could be very useful in a lot of cases.

I have a 5 cell 1500MAh pack stuffed into the nose on mine. To fit it I cut an access hatch just forward of the prop line. Allowed for the removal of some of the lead behind the front bulkhead.
I know there's money in aviation........I put it there!
