Is that Minstral 3m an actual sailplane or is it just created for the G 4.5 program? I am really enjoying it. I can't seem to find it anywhere. All of the other planes listed here are Greatplanes models???????

Re: G 4.5

Hi Rosisco,

I just noticed your question and thought that I could assist you to some degree.

The Mistral 3M was designed by a modeler in Winnipeg MB, I believe his name is Donald Wilde (I could be worong on the first name). Anyway, he used to produce kits of his designs which were sold under the manufacturer name Wilde Designs (I currently have the specific kit to build).

I do not know how much information you wish, but if you wish to get hold of Mr. Wilde, your best method of contact may be through one of the Winnipeg R/C retailers www.Cellardwellerhobby.com as one of the owners of this business is an avid R/C Glider enthusiast and may be able to point you correctly.
