Hi there,

This is the basic heli...

This is the Alloy heli...

For the price; I would reccommend the alloy version. You would require a receiver, all servos, gyro, ESC, motor, pinion gear, and batteries. However, HK also has these parts available on thier site.

I have purchased many times from HK without issues; shipping is much faster than from the US! And I have yet to pay customs or taxes! I am awaiting another large order; should be here shortly. Might take a longer because of Christmas!?

Re: New HK 450 full Alloy Version

I bought the kit and all the parts (servos, gyro, motor, lipo etc) from HobbyKing and total cost not including the radio was about $140 plus shipping. I still don't have any pics but should be able to take some this weekend.

Re: New HK 450 full Alloy Version

I've had my sim now for about two weeks and I can hover and go back and forth with confidence. I have two 30 size nitro helis and one 450 size waiting for me to get good enough on the sim before I attempt to fly them. I do have a MSR and fly that in my livingroom on a regular basis that is if it's not needing parts or repairs mostly from being worn out.
