Horizontal fin oscillating

Can anyone tell me what's happening with my Blade 400 horizontal stab's oscillating at a very fast rate during hover especially at idle up. I don't know if it just happened during that time or it's been doing that ever since. Only the left side (viewing from the tail) is oscillating. The kind of oscillation is like that of a hummingbird at a hover.

Re: Horizontal fin oscillating

Rudy....it's normal. The HS fin is thin and will vibrate/oscillate. Happens all the time with my heli, and what's fascinating is that only the left side of the fin vibrates (like a humming bird)
Don't worry...check your PM, I gave more explanation.

If you see me inverted, I'm not doing 3D ....
If you see me 3D flying, something went wrong!

Re: Horizontal fin oscillating

Usually horizontal vibration come from the front.

There are some checks that you can do to eliminate some vibration. Check the Blades balancing.. Check the spindle, mainshaft, flybar if they are not crook.Check the alignment of your paddle.

The small heli are quite sensitive to vibration.
