Re: Medium CA Flash brand discontinued?

I quit using CA on SPADS. I was having trouble with it not holding.(even with flashing the corro)
I use contact cement. I found some stuff called Permagrip PG107.It is in a spray can and is awesome. But simple ole LePages contact cement has worked well also. I hav not bothered to flash the corro when using contact cement and it works fine. (one less step!)
Some guys on spadworld have been talking about using hot-glue and various methods/brands of glue with success.
Staples, nuts and bolts, zipties, duct tape, there's lots of ways to stick corro together!!

Re: Medium CA Flash brand discontinued?

I use HobbyKing Med for coro. I think it's the same as Mercury brand or at least the bottle is the same. I don't flash and have had great success. I just sand wiht fine sandpaper wipe with rubbing alcohol and glue. You have to be careful when taking any suggestions from others though. I find it's as much about the coro as it is about the glue.

That's my 2c. George
I keep having the same mechanical problem. I've got a loose nut on the transmitter!
