saito 180 gas engine swap

what would be good swap as for power in gas engines. Planes spec a 1.4-1.8 2 stroke. Was looking at going to gas engine. Plane is a 28% giles 300 75" wing span

Your Saito was probably swinging a 17 inch prop? Spec a gasser out. Maybe a 26 or 30cc?

I went gas, then right back to my saitos......flying chainsaws just don't do it for me. I had a crrc 26 that put power out very comparable to my saito 150, cheap power.

1.8 cubic inche = 30 cc (close enough)
A DLE30 would be similar. But as stated by brkfrmhell, not the same.
