Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

Here’s my new plane for this year!!!!! And I love it... even better now...I put it on a diet!!!!! I had the same plane last year in blue but like this one better.
The web site claims a flying weight of 30Lbs and that’s the new Q.B series this is still the T.O.C / S.D version and not the TT version.
No cans this year!!!

DLE 111 on STD mufflers,
Modified ailerons for one servo,
Single rudder servo,
No ignition battery,
No Powerbox
Graphtech:-

Wing tube,
Stab tube,
Main G2 gear,
Tailwheel,
Carbon Wheel pants (when they come)

PT Carbon prop 28X8 two blade (have a black three blade 26X10 Biela coming also)
No Limitz spinner,
Five Hitec HS 7950 HV servos,
New Secraft servo arms from Thunderbolt R/C,
Ti Turnbuckles,
Dubro hardware,

JR 821 on the throttle,
2X 2600 Mah Lions from Thunderbolt R/C,
10 amp regulator for the ignition and throttle servo power,
H/D (no moving parts) switches from Thunderbolt R/C,
42% Products ignition kill from Thunderbolt R/C,
Custom made to length servo leads from Thunderbolt R/C,
Ti Axles from Thunderbolt R/C,
Dave Brown foam lite wheels,
Kevlar pull pull kit from Thunderbolt R/C
Pilot and dash from Troybuilt (when it comes)

The reason for the long description is A/ I am really liking this plane a lot!!!!!! and B/ is I am really happy with the all up dry weight!!!!!!
25.8 Lbs Dry RTF!!!!!!! The last one flew amazing this one will be way better loosing 4.2 Lbs so it will be much better !!!!!!! Colin.

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

I will also be flying the EX-T. Brum (BBT) Carden Extra 330S Patty Wagstaff I was lucky enough to get it from him........Absolutely the best airplane I have ever flown….ever….bar non.
The Yak is a very close second but it does not fly like the Patty and the best news is they will both go in my Toyota Matrix at the same time so I don’t have to choose which one to take to the field!!!!! Awesome.
Now I only to find a way to be in four places at a time!!! Home with the family at work..Boooooo. flying…yeaaaaa…. Or riding either one of my bikes!?????? Its going to be a tough season lol…Colin.

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

One last one, I had a little foamy built with the intent of flying indoors...has not come to light yet....for those of you with sharp eyes its an edge shape type foamy thing in the patty scheme lol it does not fly like an extra either still a real hoot though!! Colin.

P.S if I were to post all the past and present planes I own/owned we would be here forever...lol......

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

Great weight savings, I use one batt. for everything now on a 42% Dave Patrick Edge 540 to keep the weight down
lipoly 3700ma on 9 HS-7955 servos & ign. I get an eazy 4-5 flights 8-10 min

Made a home made carbon fiber canopy saved me 13.7 oz's
scraped the wheel pants, carbon fiber wing tube.
got it down to 37 lb's, I read some were up to 44 lb's
