How do you like the Matt Chapman plane ? Thought a couple times about getting one, but at the time i did not have a engine, now i have the da-100

Not sure on the 580 yet, just added that one as it was one I never did get when you could get them. Fortunately for me I know where it came from and how not abused and broken it isn't. At 30.5 lbs dry I suspect I will want to land hot ( 38 ounce wing loading I am thinking ) but where we fly there is no issue in doing that. Should be a great windy day flyer.

Your DA100 should go in something new and light, or scale and cool. Any plans on that yet?

Ohh, and thanks. I love the basement today, my wife doesn't, lol.

I do have the da in my ultimate, the ultimate came out at 26 1/2 lb , an it fly,s it real nice. I no what you mean about your basement, my wood shop is attached to the house but now its my airplane shop. Plus i have a 8 ft. work bench off of the living room to build on as well. i do a lot af scratch builds. Have a 50cc Hotts airplane on it now, i have it 3/4 done, the wing takes up all of the bench
