Hi Hank
That's a beautiful plane, looks like you waxed it. You can't put that one in the clothes closet, that's a biggie, looks good. I see a foamy on the couch, looks nice. What make of wheels are on the Yak.

I had Martin Rosseau of Mr Aerodesigns blow up the original plans by 20%. No precut parts, I cut every pieces myself. It took almost 6 weeks to cut all the pieces before a drop of glue. The wing was supposed to be 123 3/4", but I extended the wing sections by one panel, making total wingspan 132"
The elevator is 42" across and made as a self contained unit ( servo inside) removable in one piece with hidden aluminum thumbscrews. Fuselage is 93" overall. Cowl is one piece, 13" deep from spinner to firewall.
Wheels are 6" Kavan's, servos are 276oz for the elevator/ rudder and 215 oz for ailerons/ flaps. Radio is a 9303, rx is a 921. Esc is a Castle 110HV.
You cn see the entire build on RC Groups if you wish , under Giant Scale Electric, look for "Magnum Turbo Beaver". flytwice

This plane would/ should fly very easily on a 40cc gas, and 50 cc would make it ballistic (or about as ballistic as a Turbo Beaver should be). I plan on flying it slowly, and slower, hehe. flytwice

Hi Hank
I looked at their website, I might buy a set for my 125 in. Extreme flight , they look great. I can't wait to see your Yak fly this summer.

Hi Hank
Now, I see it, one of my IMAC pocket stick planes, I must be blind, I should have seen it the first time, I have to make an appointment with my eye doctor.

Thanks Brad Patiently waiting for paint and graphics to complete the plane.
It should be a good scale flyer! Has about the same wingloading as some 3D planes.
I am being coersed into considering Maidenfest for first flight. We'll see.
Don't know if I want to wait until May 24 to fly it!! hehe. Initial checkout and flights may be in Hanover at the Sydenham Flyers if I can get permission to fly there. flytwice
