Thumbs up Re: 1/4 scale pup

Nice Aeroplane, wish I was heading down there to buy her, without the wife along. She'd just be jealous having to share the car with the pup all the way home.

Someone will get a great plane I'm sure.
Salutations from the Pacific North WET!

S.P.A.D.s, Fibreglas & Balsa EDF's, Foamies, Brushless powered and nitro balsa planes, they're all in my hanger, just don't explain what it all means to the mrs, eh?

Bump for a nice plane.

Re: 1/4 scale pup

Thanks guys, I'm selling it because I'm building a 1/3 scale, and I don't have room for both. It flies very nice, but I want a BIGGER one!

Re: 1/4 scale pup

Is it a painted finish or plastic film covering? What kind of detailing did you do? Any stitching and tapes? How hard do you think it would be to convert it to gas again? (did you have to move the firewall or anything for your electric conversion)

Re: 1/4 scale pup

Covered with solartex and painted (latex), no detailing , firewall is mounted at the forward location on the plans, so might be an issue with a big gas engine, but a 4-stroke should be ok. Paint would have to be fuel-proofed somehow.I have some engine mounts and fuel tanks I will include for that purpose. Cheers.

Re: 1/4 scale pup

Can I ask what make the kit was? Even though I am to far from you.
