+ ill buy a ammo casing in case....
but still ,

if the A123 & Lifepo4 could do something similar to a 11.1 5000 mah 3s ill be all over them!

this mite sound weird but i zip tie my lipos in the safety sack so no mater what happens there in a safe container and don't have to worry

I had this exact thread created to answer my worries last year.
I bought an 8ight-E 2.0 and Didn't know to run nimh or LiPo
After much reading and deciding I went to LiPo and have had no problem most of the time I didn't even have it balanced or safety bag and its still fine.
As long as you watch it while charging you'll be fine I don't mean watch it constantly just check on it here and there.
Use a safety bag or box too.
And balance your lipo.
