Re: Jets Over Cayley 2010

Al - any word on flying on Thursday? The reason I ask is I have not had a chance to maiden my Super Bandit (chickened out on Saturday due to not ideal conditions.) I'd like to fly it but obviously cannot fly an untested jet at a fun fly.

It would also be nice to get in a couple of familiarization flights before Friday AM.

Also - it's looking like Nate is iffy for coming down. I'm not sur ehow that affects the banquet but right now he is 50-50 on coming.

Hi Chris
I hope to know tomorrow about Thursday.
Have Nate let me know when he knows.

Thanks

Re: Jets Over Cayley 2010

Alan,
Will there be any opportunity on Friday to do a maiden (following on Chris's question).
We won't be there until Thursday evening. I am bringing the Firebird and if all feels good on Friday, I would like to fly it. If not I completely understand, I hate to test fly an airplane at an event, but I haven't had a chance to do so yet anywhere else unfortunately.

Jeremy
We will see if we can create a hole for you when no one else is up and give it a go.

See you on Thurs. evening or Friday morning.

Re: Jets Over Cayley 2010

Trailer is loaded with all but 2 jets, Paul-o-mite's Viperjet, and Andy brought me his Reaction ARF to take and fly at Cayley so we gotta make room for it as well!
That will make I believe 13 turbine jets in the trailer, and a flock of Habu's!!!! Leaving Thursday morning! Be there Thursday evening!

Re: Jets Over Cayley 2010

Alan,
Just in case you're wondering what all is coming for airplanes, the trailer currently has:

1 Kingcat
1 Firebird
1 Raptor
1 Tutor
2 Flashes
1 F16
1 Hotspot
1 baby boomerang
1 R54 ARF
1 Viperjet
1 Bobcat XL

And 4 or 5 Habu's.
One large size BBQ
An atom bomb's worth of Jet fuel (kero)
man, tons of stuff.

Haven't decided if I'll bother with the Ducted Fan A4 yet, couldn't get the engine running again after the first flight, don't know if I want to dick with it.
One black dog (ok, she's not currently in the trailer, but she'll be coming!!!!)

And a partridge in a pear tree!
