And here I thought the hobby space should be organized up and running before everything else when one moves to a new place.

That's exactly the one that gives me grief, drop in bulbs.

I won't do any more like that.

Re: LEDS for Shop/Garage

I have now converted 6, 4 foot, two bulb fixtures that have been up and running in my garage and these are direct 115 volt tubes running without ballasts and there is no radio interference at all. I think the guys experiencing radio interference are all on the plug and play LEDS running through a ballast.

Would you have a link, part number, picture, or some info to help me find that light. It sounds very interesting.

Re: LEDS for Shop/Garage

We have just one radio station where I live, so I setup a laptop in my shop where I can access my preferred stations "listen live" feature on their website. No interference!

I have one LED drop in replaced in the garage stair well. Kills the radio when it is on. It only comes on for a short while with motion sensor then cycles off.

I will need to find something else for the other 6 in garage or radio will be useless.
