If you have a small nipple (like what you see used for a pressure tap on a muffler) you could try and drill/tap the nylon and epoxy or JB weld the nipple.

Ive seen these OS plastic parts repaired with just a short length of K&S brass tubing the same way, drill and place the tubing in the hole and JB weld.

If you aren’t attached to the NV assembly, you can use any NV as a remote - I have a lot of NIP OS needle assemblies that are usually used threaded into a carb body - but they work fine as a remote NV, you just need to mount it somewhere.
