Re: Building the steamship SCHAARHÖRN
@grosbeak
Thanks, much appreciated. @cast-away Thank you very much. No, I don't belong to any boat club. As far as I know, the nearest one would be in Kitchener. I am fortunate that I have a Lake right at my backyard. Wilhelm |

Re: Building the steamship SCHAARHÖRN
Super nice build... I also checked out all your others builds and wow, very impressive!
Where do you purchase your kits from? Cheers! |

Re: Building the steamship SCHAARHÖRN
Thanks for your nice comment.
Concerning your question about where I am buying my model kits really depends on the location of the manufacturer. For example, I did order my kits from "Caldercraft" or "Modelslipway" (now out of business) direct in England. A good source for "Billing Boats" seems to be Great Hobbies. I do buy most of the accessories from "Cornwallmodellboats". They have a great selection and the shipping cost is very reasonable. If you are lucky you might find a "second hand" kit right here in Ontario. I hope this answers your question. Regards Wilhelm |
