Re: 3W F7F 120" Tigercat

lol like I said. I doubt it but he did send me pics of it in the air.

So I put it on the scale at home in pieces
the centre wing with the motors. no props fuel tanks empty was 46.1 lb.
the fues with the tail surfaces attached no canopy turtle deck was 18.5 lb
wing tips were 2.5 lb each
the canopy and turtle deck 4.5 lb
all together thats 70 lb
add props fuel and the prop cones which are are solid and heavy
ya close to 80 lb

Re: 3W F7F 120" Tigercat

Hey guys this evening me and Demitry went out to Grimsby and meet up with Glen Nigh and got my 2nd Da 100 for the big Cat. the trip was fun but meeting Glen was an absolute pleasure and an honour. What a nice interesting man, He has been in the hobby for well over 50 years. He showed us some of his old single stick radios that he still fly's with. His collection of beautiful scratch build airplanes were like little jewels. He talked about the freinds he had and flew with all those years that have passed, and the battle his good friend joe is fighting with cancer, it chocked us.
yet the man well into his 80s is still full of energy and still building beautiful planes.
Glen my prayers and best wishes for your Friend Joe, I will come and fly with you and Joe this august at your Heritage fun fly, It was an Honour meeting you.
Thank you Arthur.

It sure is Max, The only Reason why I came back to the Hobby was I missed my friends and all the fun we used to have Bobby, Miky, Ron, Demits, Doublestien, Jimmy, Franky and all the boys.
They are all Thrilled and gearing up for a great year. And there are a lot of new guys that I am hooking up with that have come into the Hobby for the last 10 years It should be fun.

Re: 3W F7F 120" Tigercat

I was there when Art picked up this Jem. What an awesome airplane. It was fun taking a look through it with you and Bob. I always find it a bit daunting trying to figure out a complex airplane that someone else setup, lol. Step by step I guess.

Canít wait to see her at the field Art...It was nice meeting you
