Re: Carbon cub s+ flap problem

From the manual:

The Flap System menu option enables flap programming as well as elevator mixing. You must select a flap-enabled wing type in Aircraft Type or the Flap System menu does not appear.
To activate the Flap System:
1. Access the System Setup list and select Aircraft Type.
2. Select a flap-enabled wing type and exit the System Setup list. 3. Access the Function List from the Main Screen and select Flap
System.
4. Select Inhibit and scroll to the switch or lever you wish to use
to control the flap channel.
5. Assign the Flap travel values and any desired Elevator mixing. 6. Select a Flap speed, if desired. Norm (default) does not have a
delay. Flap speed options range from 0.1s to 30 seconds.

Any luck with these settings first?

I think with the bind n fly the use the gps and safe for channels 5 and 6 and flaps is on channel 7 on the receiver .. And i have thr gps removed bcuz its annoying comming into land on final and just outta the footballfield and it full throttle and climbs haha. So on a regular receiever u could just plug into channel 5 or 6 but not on thia one it has x beside those ports . 7 is called aux 2.. Just what ive been reading

Nick,
Did you manage to get your FLAPS functional?

Re: Carbon cub s+ flap problem

Put a Y for ailerons and flaps or split flaps for flapperons

Ailerons. 1 channel
Flap. 2 channel (Optional 2 for flapperon)
Elevator 3 channel
Rudder 4 channel
Throttle/esc 5 channel

Not in any particular order

Re: Carbon cub s+ flap problem

On my Carbon Z Cub (2.1M span) with spektrum 636 receiver I have
both the aileron's and Flaps with Y cable's from the receiver out.

Nick,
Do you have the new Orange 2.1 meter wingspan cub?
