I have a spektrum ix12 and I am experiencing a really dumb problem maybe it's my old age. apparently when I left the field the other day I did not turn it off I must have left it on sleep mode and did not notice that I had turn not turn the transmitter off. Of course when I got to the field today the battery was flat 0%. It's too bad that there is not some sort of an indication on the transmitter even a LED would help to indicate that the transmitter is still in the on position I sure miss the old days with the on-off switch. I guess I just put it down to old age what else can I say

Re: Once again

Meh don't feel bad. My JR 12X has an on/off switch and this spring after princeton I somehow forgot to shut it off. Didn't notice for a month or so. Batteries were toast.... to much crap going on in life it seems.

Yea I understand but I always had an inactive alarm on my older TX,s that would let me know if the TX was left on. As soon as I put the XC12 to sleep there are as far as I can see no warning alarms to remind me of the condition

Re: Once again

Yeah, some transmitters speak...'inactivity alarm, inactivity alarm'. But you know when they are in the tx case in the back they aren't heard or with 'old' ears.
