The setting is different on many carbs , you can buy the proper gauge quite inexpensively.

Truthfully I would never go leaner than max rpm and personally I would back it off an 1/8 of a turn from max - ie richen it up by an 1/8. Better to be very slightly rich than too lean. If you fly straight up and the motor sags at all I would richen it up a tiny bit.

Engines often change in the air also. So you need to fly it and try it but avoid overheating the engine by running it too lean
