I'll post a couple of pics but it is exactly done the way the manual calls for except for the juries which are from 3/32 piano wire instead of 1/16. They are tied to the main struts with stnl wire and secured with epoxy to keep them from shifting; And they're simply pushed into tight holes on a wing spar because that's what the manual says. Did some takeoffs and landings today in 21+ kmh winds without any problems.

Just waiting for an opportunity to fly the Norseman off the water.

The manual calls for the trailing edge of the wing-ends to be 1/8" lower than the leading edge which I couldn't get due to the adhesive setting too fast when inserting the dowels into the brass ends. Because of this, after initial tuning, one aileron was up nearly 1/4" and the other down by 5/16" when tuned for level flight.
I adjusted the strut length by putting a couple of washers under the back strut, where it attaches to the wing (see picture) on the side where the aileron was down and under the front strut on the other. Ailerons are now perfectly inline for level flight.

Which wing did you put the shims on, the one with the high aileron? I am having the same issues with my Norseman. not as bad as yours though. Nice Plane by the way.

If the aileron is up shim the strut closest to the leading edge in order to raise the trailing edge in relation to the leading edge.
On the other side where the aileron is down put shims under the strut closest to the aileron in order to drop the trailing edge in relation to the the leading edge.

Dave, those instructions sound completely opposite to what would occur. If you shim the front strut attach you will raise the leading edge and visa versa.

However, the effect on flying is correct.
