Hi guys,

I have this Super Tigre 75 S Made in Italy,

i have a "Wayne Handley" Raven that requires a 65 size engine, but i want to give it a little extra power, so I was wondering about this engine. I also have a 61 OS Max FSR ,

any one with a good memory?? thanks!!!

Re: Super Tigre 75 S question

I guess it depends just what condition each is in. The OS 61FSR was probably the best engine OS ever made in a 2 stroke for the size. The ST has the displacement advantage to swing a longer prop. You have to look at what you want to achieve ; speed or vertical pulling power. Also nitro content fuel you want to use.

Re: Super Tigre 75 S question

Hi there, well, it is for a Raven (similar to an Extra 300) so, speed is not really important, but bigger prop would be. I want to use 5% nitro

what do you think?

bench test the 2 motors and see how they swing the same props.

Re: Super Tigre 75 S question

Its been my experience that European engines run fine on 5% Nitro after being fully broke in. Any higher Nitro will make the engine hard to tune. My SuperTigre 90K needed a long break-in before I could set the mixtures properly. Cheers Floyd
