Is red line snowmobile oil ok to run in stead of red line racing oil.
Both are fully synthetic up to 100:1 mix.

Re: red line oil

Bill CT should still carry the Redline Racing Oil that everyone uses.

Well except me I prefer Ipone Samourai Racing Synthetic Oil

https://www.royaldistributing.com/ip...il-800090.html

As a Bonus it has a Strawberry Scent as indoor motocross bikers use it. LOL!

Re: red line oil

Bill,

The CT in Sarnia, ON has stopped selling the Redline Racing oil, but the PartSource store has it still. If your CT doesn’t, try PartsSource.

Re: red line oil

As others have said, Snowmobile oil thou will work it isnt designed for "racing high temp applications" such as our airplane motors. It is also designed primarily for oil injection systems and is very thin to flow at low temps. Thunderbolt RC and many other online retailers carry Redline racing oil. If you have local race track that run Karts a lot of them run Red Line Kart Oil which is the identical stuff with different label (Quote from Red Line website "Chemistry in Two-Stroke Kart Oil and Two-Stroke Race Oil are identical, with different labels") Canadian tire will also order it in if you have SKU number.
