Re: Graupner USA closing shop

Thanks, another listing yesterday.

Very unfortunate as that would have been an alternate to what I am using now. This is what happens to the proliferation of low price , low quality stuff out there that people buy. Don’t work ; throw it out ! and buy more of the same and some of it should work.

There must be good stuff to smoke in BC. Did you read the article you posted?

Manufacturing is MOVING from China to Korea so product quality should IMPROVE.

Graupner USA is closing. If you read the article part of them blame is from TRADE WARS. You can thank the USA and especially TRUMP for that.

Graupner is looking for a MAJOR DISTRIBUTOR here and that can actually be GOOD NEWS! Let's say Horizon starts starts to distribute them, then we will have Graupner products at the local hobby shop instead of having to resort to being ripped off from American companies like Esprit in Florida.

Getting rid of the American middleman (USA management headquarters and having to deal with near monopoly hobbyshops in the USA,is GOOD FOR CANADIAN HOBBYISTS!

THIS IS GOOD NEWS FOR US IN CANADA!

Re: Graupner USA closing shop

Who likes paying uncle Sam their middleman tax?

Trump is trying to destroy the Canadian economy for "national security" reasons and this is one step in the right direction for CANADA!

...give us a break. If you want to spew politics, then here's a dose for you:

Trump = Winning

Trudeau = Big time LOSING

....Trudeau and his band of dumb Climate extremist, globalist, socialist, virtue signalling morons are the reason we are not sharing in the massive US economic success.

...too bad we don't have a Trump of our own. You know, someone who is actually capable of something besides wearing fancy socks and going on holidays at taxpayer expense.

Its laughable that anyone in our country dares to criticize the US president when we have such a complete and utter failure running the show here.

....IMHO..

..... remember, you started it.

Re: Graupner USA closing shop

Once again , someone hasnít read a posting properly or fits in other meanings . What I was saying in a minimum of words is that Graupner is a very good product and because of the purchasing , especially other cheap stuff being bought and imported directly from China that a good product bought here is bypassed. Then you also miss out on the at home service.

Yes , letís hope a new distributor is created.

Just a little question for you Woodenclock ; where do you spend your hard earned cash; off shore , local hobby store or Canadian mail-order ?

Yeah, then maybe we could fight the Trump and all the others in USA who are funding the fake environmental protesters etc. that are destroying any chance of a robust economy in Canada.....especially Alberta.

Got most of that right. It ain’t Trump funding the climate nutjobs.

Those funds flow from the elitist Liberals such as the assorted Rockefeller and Soros foundations that Trudeau is in league with. Same crowd that decimated our wood, pulp and paper industry.

Trump stood up to those nutters, walked away from the “Paris Climate Accord”, unchained their energy industry and made the US energy independent in less than 3 years.... now the largest energy producer in the world, finally able to properly deal with the Middle East tyrants ....

Fun Fact : THe US also showed the largest emission reduction of any country on the planet last year...... in the event that some believe that politicians can change the weather.

...... meanwhile Justin is over in Senegal using our increasing tax dollars to help Them develop oil and gas production??? ... and sucking up to an Iranian Terrorist regime that just killed nearly 60 Canadians....dude isn’t even pretending to be on our team.... We’re sooooo screwed.

..... airplanes, airplanes, airplanes...... need to dig out my copy of the Battle of Britain and lose myself in the past before my head explodes!! Lol.

Cheers
