1s battery charger

Got my grand son a Hobbyzone Champ plane, can someone recommend a good multi port charger. 6 at a time would be great.
We have the charger that comes with it but it only does 1 battery at a time. ( I can't charge one at a time to keep up with him.)

Re: 1s battery charger

best is Eflite Celestra UMX-4 charger. It does both 1 and 2 cell small batteries. I have had one for a couple of years and it is the only one I use for my UMX planes. It is both AC and 11.1v battery powered.

my 2-cents,
dave

Re: 1s battery charger

Just a dumb question, is a PH2.0 plug the same as a Micro jst plug? I have seen 1s batteries listed with either.

Re: 1s battery charger

I just bought one of these. What's nice about it is that it's USB powered, so when I go to the indoor flying nights, I just take it and my 10,000Mah battery bank. All tucks into my jacket pocket, no fighting for a plugin.

Not a dumb question, but no, they’re not the same. Micro JST is sometimes listed as 1.25, it’s a physically smaller plug. You can (generally speaking) change the lead to accept the different size, lots of guys switched to PH2.0 on Blade Inductrix’s back when Tiny Whoops got popular, before the brushless power whoops got popular.

Re: 1s battery charger

I had a similar problem with my dads plains and bought one of these Hitec RCD 44212 X4 Micro AC/DC 1 Cell LiPo Charger. Find it excellent and has a few options for different batts that are 1 cells.
