I would say by this thread's activity that the title should be changed to, alive and well, LOL

I just went through 100 pages of heli general discussion and didn't find any thread to post daily random heli activities. Its nice to see a negative title can spark positive results.

Might be a good idea to make a thread "Heli hobby daily".

Re: Heli hobby is dead

I've been teaching a new student well into his 50s how to fly helicopter for the last 3 weeks now. He's been slowly progressing, but two days ago he did his first full control hover for about five lipos. Prior to that, he was working on one or two controls at a time. All flights with Wireless buddy box and plenty of social distancing. To say that he was on cloud nine at the end of those solo hover flights, is an understatement.

As expected, he is fully addicted.

Sorry I tried to upload a short 2 minute video taken today but it would not upload. The message received was that it could not because a security token was missing with a link to the administrator to report the problem. When I tried to do so it did not seem to get through.

Re: Heli hobby is dead

I know it is not a Heli video but close!
Drones are much more fun than heli’s! I dare you to say otherwise after watching this video.
