paint for foam airplanes
any suggestions on what paint I can use to repaint some old foam EDF planes I have
I can either brush it on or maybe spray. Need to change the grey airplane to something like red and white so I can see it Sucks to get old |

I have been using the Dollarama poster paints. So many colours and you can mix-and-match them to suit your needs. Find them in the craft section, there is a large rack with all kinds of them. Even the silver paints on pretty good.

I agree with Max, only recently discover them. Thin them down with a 50/50 mixture of rubbing alcohol and water so you can spray them in your airbrush. Also, if you want custom warbirds colours and have a sample of the colour, go to Home Depot and have it scanned. They have tester bottles for under $5.00 that they will custom mix any colour for you. It's latex so you can brush it on or thin it out and spray it on.
If you are looking for a really bright red, check out Flirt Alert under the their Behr brand, really stands out in the sky. And yeah, getting older sucks .... ![]() |

I also used Tamaya safely, though many recommend keeping a 30cm distance when spraying
