Phantom 2 servo for camera gets hot

I have a Phantom 2 that I hooked a servo into the naza for camera control from the receiver. The servo wants to get hot and eventually burn up. I have tried different servos, cheap and good quality doesnt make any difference. I am not forcing the servo beyond its travel either direction. Must have something to do with the vpower coming from the naza. I can hook the servo up to a different battery but thats added weight. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Phantom 2 servo for camera gets hot

Did some research, here's a suggestion...

Check the specifications of your servos (e.g. operating frequency) and run P2 Assistant (version 3.4), you can change the output frequency if "Gimbal Switch" is on.
Apparently there were some issues whether this option was available in P2 Assistant.
So... try the thread below.

Maybe you could access the Naza controller USB port and connect it to computer.

Cheers
Andrew
