Ok, so they still make them. I had nonestly thought they went the way of the dodo bird. Thanks. Now to just make another Amazon order. Or since I will not be flying for a while, I will just wait till I go shopping in the city.

Re: Homemade RC Plane Balancer

I find more often than not that you can get tons of info from even other websites by looking (googling) rather than asking to get the answers . I tried googling “ home made rc airplane balancer “ and came up with a dozen pages of tons of ideas and then a person can always modify to suit what they have on hand to build. Plus YouTube videos and links to manufacturers and resellers to give you and idea of what they sell if you don’t want to build. Works for just about any RC related item plus others.

I agree. How many times has the same question been asked. By doing your own research you can get more information then this small group can provide.

Re: Homemade RC Plane Balancer

Thanks Greg. I like that one you built. I am thinking of building one like that, and also a Vanessa rig. Just gotta hope my drop ceiling will hold it. I will only be using on planes under 7 lbs..... If I had to, I guess I could remove a ceiling tile.

Re: Homemade RC Plane Balancer

As to why I asked here. Well, just so you know, I did search online, but I prefferred to see what some more locals used, as I honestly would trust them, as there is a lot of talent here. Also, not everything posted here for pictures was able to see online. Not trying to start anything, just asking a question. If you don't like what I had asked, please feel free to move along.

So, then, what is the point of this forum? Some of us like to discuss things and talk about this stuff.

Its irrelevant how many times things have been asked... if no one asked these questions, there wouldn’t be much to google, now, would there be...

Much like being a member of a club, its nice to have a place like RCC, where you get to know people and can ask anything from basic stuff to more technical things, and start a conversation.

If there are no questions asked, what’s the forum for?
