Marine fuel and Shell ultra 94 don't have ethanol.
We dont use ethanol diluted fuel, at least I am not aware of any of us doing that.

I think most fuels are legislated to have around 10% ethanol still, at least in Ontario. There are few farming area stations can opt out still. I guess marine pumps too. That is good to know. The video sort of showed that it was the ethanol that made the gas have such a short shelf life. The pure fuel did not really need stabilizer.

Out here in the west shell premium is ethanol free. Only has I use for sleds and planes and generators

Shell has said for a long time that their 91 Octane contains no ethanol. I believe the ethanol is used to adjust the Octane level and the lower Octane pumps have a notice that says it may contain up to 10% ethanol.

Useful tip: label your gas container as MIX when adding oil. This comes in handy if you have similar sizes and colours in the garage else you will do as i did and get a mosquito fighting smoking lawnmower

Ya but remember to pump 1 liter or two into your car first before filling your gas container as you never know what the last grade was used at the pump and will still be in the hose!

Another alternative is AVGAS. No Ethanol 100 or 115 octane and doesn't smell like regular gas.

As for oil I use the nice Strawberry Smelling iPONE Samourai. It is a two stroke Racing Oil for indoor Motocross Dirt Tracks and Strawberry Scented so while your still breathing in the fumes at least it smells good. It can be mixed from 35:1 to 100:1. Available from Royal Distributing.

I run exclusively 100LL AvGas in my spark ignition engines.. 100LL does contain lead like the old gas did not a bad thing as the lead helps to lubricate and cool the engine.. The real up side to AvGas is that your fuel lines do not go hard.. It is the ethanol in the gas that does this , not to mention to other parts as well..

In two of my gas conversion engines that are running on glow ignition.. I run the 94 octane pump gas with 10 percent ethanol..

The reason for the ethanol is that it is needed to get the glow plug to work..

The reason for using the 94 pump gas is that ethanol will mix with pump gas

Ethanol will not mix with AvGas..

I also run exclusively the Royal Purple full synthetic two stroke oil..
