Re: Trex 250 spinning in circles??

Barry, I never came back on here yesterday. In order to setup the tail servo, first you must plug in the servo to the receiver direct and set the arm at the proper 90 degrees and also give the tail blades a 3-5 degree pitch into the torque of the trust. This means 3-5 degrees positive pitch to the right looking form the rear of the heli. Once you've done this then you can unplug and start your setup. Of course the blades will turn towards the torque as it knows when you spool up it must hold the tail. If you cannot get it pm me i'll give you my number and explain it over the phone it'll be easier.

By the way its a spartan quark gyro and im using a dx6 radio.
Barry is your tail rotor turning the right direction should be spinning counter clockwise when looking at it with the tail on your left hand side if not you will have to check the belt tension should only be tense half way before able to touch other side of belt in the tail tube.

Check that the tail rotor elbow is on the side of the leading edge of the tail rotor blade, when testing gyro direction and moving the heli nose left you should see that the slider is sliding towards you and slide away from you when moving the nose right. Going back to the gyro setup, if it is the case with the elbow setup on trailing edge of blade set the gyro direction until heli stop spinning. Hope it helps.
