wanted dumas 48 inch pt boat kit

Would that be the same as the Dauntlas , I believe the PT boats were built of the same hull (Or visa versa ) and had 3 Packards Michel

No, not the same as the Dauntless. This one was made by ProBoat. As far as dimensions are concerned, it is approximately 40 inches long and 12 inches at its widest. It has 2 water cooled motors, 2 channel radio, esc and is ready to go. It also has lights if you favor night time running.

Old Thread, I know, but a point of clarification. Dauntless was not a PT boat hull. Similar in appearance, but she was designed by Sparkman & Stevens, was 65'10" rather than the 78" Higgins or the 80" ELCO. She did have two 4m-2500 V 12 Packards and did 41 knots. BUT, no she was not a PT. BTY, nor was Nelson Rockefellar's yacht which was similarly credited as being such. She was HDML (harbor defense motor launch) 72 ft and 12 knots.
