That said, I can probably meet you on the 26th when you're coming through too. Whichever you'd prefer.
That sounds more than fair. Probably cost you nearly 10 beans by the time you drive into The Peg from Portage anyway eh? I should go ahead and ship it to you in case I don't make it out there, schedules have a way of changing in the air freight biz. Have a few items on the plate today but can get it to the post on my way to work tomorrow afternoon.

PM sent.

Re: Source for 2 3/8" Cdn Gutter pipe in Winnipeg?

Hey guys, might not help you much but I have been getting the 2 3/8" PVC at "Totem" in Calgary.

Totem is an Alberta based company that has just been bought out by Rona and I am unsure if they will continue to carry this. Their website catalog is currently being changed over so I couldn't look up the part number or any other info on it. Checking with Siding and Eavestroughing supply companies or similar may be an idea....

I was planning on getting a couple of 10' lengths soon just to stock up on and will post any info I can get from Totem about the manufaturer and post it so perhaps you can track down a distributor near you for any future requirements.

Re: Source for 2 3/8" Cdn Gutter pipe in Winnipeg?

Ask for Gws to583 manufacturer part.
At least in Québec this is the part number
I did ship some to us spadder 3-4 years ago.
It ended at abou 55$ for 3 pipes (30 inch cut length )
In my opinion I don't really like gutter fuse. I prefer coro fuse lighter stronger less brittle.

Just my two cents
Daniel

Re: Source for 2 3/8" Cdn Gutter pipe in Winnipeg?

I used the aluminum downpipe for some fuses a while ago. It worked just fine. Also, any of the vinyl pipe at the hardware store, regardless of size would be just fine, these are SPADS after all!
I've been keeping my eyes open for those plastic baseball bats to make a plane with!

Re: Source for 2 3/8" Cdn Gutter pipe in Winnipeg?

I called today and the pipe price have raise ridiculously...
It's 19$ +tx now.
I remember when I start spadding in 2002 it was 10$.
Another reason to go with corofuse.
Dan

Re: Source for 2 3/8" Cdn Gutter pipe in Winnipeg?

Even the aluminum U channel is $15 a piece. I paid $8 for the downspout when I got it, and then got another piece from a house that I bought and swapped it out, and haven't found any since. I am good for a while though. Geez, maybe we will have to use wood for planes again, oh no, I hate painting. There is always foam and coro.

Re: Source for 2 3/8" Cdn Gutter pipe in Winnipeg?

have you tried Home Hardware, I think there is one in Winnipeg. The one here in Brandon carries the 2 3/8 square plastic (2 colours-brown and white)
