Re: Got some new stuff

Nice, looks like you've got a whole heli for spares or a second heli. Just back to this group after years away looks great. I fly the same bird converted to fbl and I have used 3300 and 2600, the 2600 are lighter and actually the perfect choice. Use your throttle curve to control your power, if you like to fly as you say , you will get 5 mins no problem. Have fun.

Re: Got some new stuff

Thanks Jim. Five minutes is what I have the timer set for and it uses 50% of the charge. I'm getting it dialed in now and things are looking up.

Re: Got some new stuff

Experience should be able to let you estimate how different flying styles and throttle usage will affect your battery performance, and if followed closely, will allow for trend monitoring of pack health.

How are the bits and more I sold you working out?

Re: Got some new stuff

Are you in the hovering stage or in forward flight?
Reason for asking is , if still learning to hover higher head speed with less pitch also really helps you stabilize the hover while getting it dialed in, then adjust it to fine tune how you like the responsiveness. I would say have the throttle curve max at 70% so you are not so sensitive then adjust the pitch and add expo. You may already know this, just trying to offer help. Glad your having fun, that's the game.

Re: Got some new stuff

Hi Gary the stuff you sold me is working out well. That helicopter is very stable and after I changed the one blade link that I buggered up it flies very smooth.

Re: Got some new stuff

I can fly in a figure eight and hover, no 3D for me though. I'm getting it dialed in better it's just a matter of time till I get it right.

Re: Got some new stuff

Glad to hear it. I hope to finish the XFrame 600 this winter and have it ready for next season.
