Yes but there have been a few updates as shown in this video. First I extended the tongue so I don't make contact with the trailer and camper no mater how tight the turn.

Right side floor now has a power water filter setup so I can fill the holding tanks on the camper from any water source. One micron carbon block with silver for chemical filtration, and a one micron absolute ceramic filter.

3200 watt inverter, remote start generator.

Compressor

2 sealed canoe barrels for odorless garbage storage when off grid camping.

Front twin deep cycle batteries.

Left side floor milk crates strapped to wall for incidental storage

Two spare gas cans

Round pop up screen tent and spare tire fixed to wall.

Second level plane and wing storage and a few small kits to keep me occupied on those rainy days.

Front radio and charger storage along with stand for 2.5 horse outboard for canoe.

Gliders in tubes on wall.

Right side work bench

Right upper level plane storage

Upper front stereo system and power panel

Three high intensity LED in ceiling.

Left side more plane storage with wings strapped to walls.

Backing out shows the home made roof racks to put the canoe on.

This is an on going project that will get refined as time goes on.

Possibly a pivoting roof rack that I can raise a 14 ft aluminum car topper boat. Who knows what the future will bring LOL!!!!!

Re: Extended Road Trip?

Ah. Saw something in the earlier pics, just not enough detail.

With the reno on the build room have a lot of that stuff extra now so may be an easy mod till the sliding shelf is installed.

I saw a sliding shelf done with the same set up instead of shelves the fellow made up rollers using in line skate wheels and home made clips for the rails that made the shelf adjustable. Besides the wheels under the shelf he had two on each side on top at the rear of the trailer to keep the shelf from coming completely out and tipping. Just an idea if you will.

Re: Extended Road Trip?

If you are going to Gros Morne and want to see some spectacular scenery do the boat trip on Western Brook Pond. It is a bit of a hike from the road but well worth the time. Also the drive up the west coast, #430, to Lance aux Meadows and St Anthony has some great towns and lovely scenery.

Thanks! Western Brook is definitely on the list I expect to spend at least 3 days in Gros Morne longer if I feel like it. 430 is the viking trail and I am looking forward to exploring. Hoping to see icebergs hope its not to late in the season. The darn days before we leave seem to be getting longer LOL!!!!

Thanks again for the suggestions.

Re: Extended Road Trip?

You will enjoy George Street pubs. My favorite is the Irish pub, live music and good drinks. My buddy (a young fella) figured the peeler bar was a good choice, we tried to talk him outta it, we never saw him for 3 days, he missed his plane (cause he was in jail), boss was not happy. Depending on the pub you go to, you may have to kiss the cod, LOL!

They've ruined it Frank when I was screeched in you had to recite a poem/ditty and if you made a mistake you had to down a shot of screech and try again. When you got it right then you got to kiss the cod. Now I hear for the squeamish they have a toy puffin for you to kiss.

Re: Extended Road Trip?

Today I worked on the sound deadening isolation box for the generator and installed those magnetic mosquito screens on the side and back door. Looks like its going to work perfect. Now if its pouring rain I can work inside the trailer with the doors open without getting eaten alive.

Re: Extended Road Trip?

Well we left on the morning of the 25 of June and made a run straight to Peterborough where I met with a fellow modeler and picked up an 80 inch Zlin 526 new in the box. Then we ran straight to Ivy Lea park to camp for the night. We crossed over to the US the next morning and started looking for the flying fields along the way that I had copied from the AMA site with GPS co-ordinates. Their co-ordinates must be different from ours because I was only able to locate two of the several sites I had listed. Both sites were in someones back yard no answer to the phone contact so I did not want to attempt to enter without permission.

New Brunswick and Nova Scotia better gps co-ordinates found a couple of sites on the way one I actually met up with a fellow but he was there to fly his FPV quad and the field was to soggy to fly any of my models from so after visiting we left to continue on the trip.

Ferry over to Port Aux Basque and did the western peninsula and it rained, fog and no sunshine for a week all the way up to St Anthony's. Looking to post some pics but any local wifi is limited and slow. My data will get used up pretty fast if I try to use it to post much.

Sitting in Terra-Nova park for a few days. Hoping to be able to post some pics and possibly videos later.

Re: Extended Road Trip?

Well, it sounds like you had a better experience through the "Wreck House" than I did. We drove for two straight days from St. John's to Port aux Basques, staying in Grand Falls/Windsor the first night. Found the area around CornerBrook really beautiful, not knowing what we would soon be heading into.

Keep up the texting, at least. Pics or vids can wait till more than two cans and a string WiFi.

At least we found the people outstanding.

Where to after this?
