Welcome back Jim, I am sure you will be glad you did.

As for the Covid forcing so much time at home, I have been spending more time back in the workshop. My last three projects are some vintage helis. The first to be resurrected was a TSK Mystar 46 with an OS46FXH, Futaba S9202 servos, GY401 gyro and some vintage FunKey white fibreglass 600 blades. The next project was a vintage Century Falcon 46 similarly equipped. Now just resurrecting a Sig Clipped Wing Cub with an Enya FS120 engine. Just have to test the engine on a test stand to make sure the engine that has been sitting for over 20 years will still run properly, and install it and the fuel tank.

Looking forward to our west coast wet/rainy weather to break for a few days to get out and perform the flight tests on the Falcon and Cub. I had four flights on the Mystar before the rains came. I had forgot how well it flew.

Re: I'm back......

Good to hear Phil, I myself have now got my Chase 360 up and ready for test flights, Uh.... minus 48C here this morning, not happening lmao.
My Synergy E5 is also ready as a heavy 550 , due to lack of parts to complete my upgrade to a 600 at this time. But I'll wait and see if I can get a swash plate and control rod ends at some point. For now once spring arrives at least I can fly it.

I miss the days of the old Hawk screaming and learning basic 3D, amaze the guys with a loop or roll. Hoping to fire up some of the guys in the area, it's been way way to long.

Welcome back! I use Rotorquest a lot. Good sales and they’ve been good to work with.

Re: I'm back......

Hi Jim, WB. I buy my blades and bodies from Phil and get a lot of parts from Rotor Quest and some from Farfast. What part of Canada are you in? Those temps are certainly not from around my neck of the woods, lol. Take care.
