Well after several years of just 1-3 flights a season I 've finally fired up!!!
I actually ordered parts for a few heli's that have sat for years where I've said yah i'll order parts and never do. I am excited to get them and get a couple heli's upgraded and serviced and once my new transmitter pack arrives I can actually start.
Ordered Synergy parts from The Heli Hangar and also a few goodies from Great Hobbies.

Wouldn't you know it..... soon as my replacement radio transmitter pack shows up, we drop to -31 C last night geez!!!!! There will be no flipping test hovering or photo's today!!!!

This winter season is really going to suck. Especially that all indoor flying is cancelled because of Coivid. It will be like it was 20 years ago. Wait for a nice sunny winter day and fly outside. Brrrr.....

Hey Max, you are right indeed it's going to be a long winter. - but lets looks at this way - i am going to put a positive spin on it : the days have already started to get a bit longer ( minute by minute) - we are busy with Christmas so that will make December go fast (half of Dec. is already GONE). Then we just have January and February to worry about - but once March is here then we know that Spring is just around the corner. That's my story and i am sticking to it..... lol

I'm actually looking for a winter build myself. I've been looking at Farfast for a XL Power 550 or possibly an OXY5 from The Heli Hangar. Still not positive which one I should buy, I actually prefer a true 500-520 size due to the crash costs, $50 a set cheaper for the one size smaller blades. Still doing research on them.
For now my parts from The Heli Hangar have arrived and i'll be servicing and stretching my Synergy E5 and also replacing my tail servo on my KDS Chase 360.

On a positive note here ,do to global warming our normal minus 30 crap left lol.... zero yesterday and again today. Radio is charged up , getting a few lipos ready here for a day on the lake.

Well all I can say to help Jim is they are both great helis and both great shops to deal with. I guess that was not really much help in making your decision but I tried. Ha Ha

Thanks Dennis, I thought more about it, I do only want a 520 size heli.
