Looking for spektrum pro's, im stumped.
Im trying to setup warnings in my DX9 gen1, so that the radio notifies me that I had powered on with my hold switch in the OFF position.
When I go into the "Warning" options, it does not let me highlight Hold, completely skips it. Tried all sorts of things including fishing for a solution on google with no success. Stock setting shows that it should be warning me that hold is in the 'on' position but it does not do that either. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Try looking in the Flight Mode Setup. If you have not chosen a switch in that screen, you will not have a Hold switch to select when it comes to warnings. Hope that is what it is. I do not have a DX9 but a DX18 and both use the same firmware. By the way, you may have an older DX9 (silver) but it is a Gen 2 radio. Update it to Airware 2.05 to unlock a lot of new features if you haven't already. Only the old DX8 and DX7s are Gen 1 radio. My DX18 does not have voice but it still classifies as a Gen 2 as the firmware can be updated and currently it is at 2.05 along with my iX12. Typically, no voice, Gen 1. Voice, Gen 2. Take care. It has been fixed but what is lost is not so important that you can't use it. Unfortunately, it will be a wait for it to be released as they are working on a series of updates. I'm still going to fly my helicopters and maiden a scale bird this weekend if the weather is good. Too many have treated it like the sky is falling. As long as aircraft are not falling out of the air, a short inconvenience is nothing to loose sleep over. Take care.

As a point of interest, Text Gen is still on the list of available telemetry options in my iX12 and is still active on the two helicopters I have iKON2s in. Seems to be limited to the DX line as I don't have it in my freshly updated DX18. Oh well, I don't use that for flying anymore as I have no helicopters that need more than 10 channels. Hopefully, the next update comes out soon.
