I can get the downspout at the Kingsville Home Hardware here. It is a building centre now. You can likely get it up there, I would guess there are Home Hardwares up there. I have a fairly small SPAD with an FSR .40 and thin wing. It really smokes around the field with a 9-7 prop. It was a garage sale item. I got two for $20 each, and a S Tiger .40 was $20 too. That was a mistake. very crusty dirty. The other plane was the same but had a T Tiger .40 pro. I haven't flown it yet. It is just a spare. The FSR one really lands hot, pretty heavy and small. The idle has to be very low. The other pic is a Gnat that takes a Norvel.15. It isn't done yet. I have a couple stick types on the go too. One with an ASP .15 with a thin wing, and another with a thick wing and probably an LA .40. It is pretty much like a Twist, Suquoi, Edge.....

Actually, I think that name has been used on an other model. Oh well.
Hurry up & wreck that single cell foamy, retrieve the electronics & build a Wingit.
Indoor combat is a hoot.

I lightly scuff the surface with a coarse sand paper and then use gorilla glue weight it down over night and away you go.

Re: S.P.A.D.S. ?

I tried the woodpecker, acetone, scotchbrite and PU glue, contact cement and two faced tape, but went to the quick torch lick and CA and found that the quickestand best holding in a few experiments. Maybe acetone, and then the torch would clean the wax off better? I like that way for joining the trailing edge of the wings anyway. On a Youtube video, there was a guy that really seemed to know what he was doing, that used a 3M tape that worked well. I only tried the dollar store stuff, and it was not as strong with my experiments anyway.I haven't really made that many that required glue.

Re: S.P.A.D.S. ?

I use Goop on the spar, most everything else is Lepages water based contact cement, I have a 5 or 6 year old Corospit and the contact cement is holding up well and this plane get slimed hard..... My combat planes have never failed during their lifesapns (2 to 3 years or so on average. I use ISO Alcohol and scothbrite pads to clean & scuff the areas to be glued.

Nice thing about the water based CC is no/low odor!!!

I tried the flashing & CA but could not get consisted results -
