I have a second block of mdf to cut out. This time, before I do the finish pass Iíll soak the surface around the thin areas with thin CA. Should stiffen them up as not to chip. Plus will be stronger when I use for sand casting.

I was out of the shop working today and heading out of town for the weekend. Will try again Monday.

Forgot to post photos.

Worked great! Not to try casting some cases using the new patterns...
