Hi there,

I just bought the parts to a Mr. Steele build.

I had everything wired up the way he did.

PDB, FC, RX.

Except, I plugged in the RX power from the FC backwards. I plugged the main battery in and smoke came from I THINK the FC.

The FC no longer works except when plugged in from the Micro USB port. In which case it draws 2 Amps from my USB port. My other FCs draw 0.015 Amps.

The RX still works.

I cant test the PDB though.

What parts should I be ordering again?

FC - Yes or No? Draws 2 Amps from USB port
RX - Yes or No? Works but could it be damaged?
PDB - Yes or No? Could it be damaged?

I have to pay $45 for shipping per order to Canada from GetFPV.
So I want to get it right in one try.

Anyone know a Canadian retailer that stocks Kiss?

Usually reveresed power means smoked speed controllers. Does your kit have integrated speed controllers with the flight controller or are they separate?

Everything should be OK, you just need to replace your FC. BTW, RMRC is located in OHIO and ships to Canada for 1/3 the price of GetFPV

Hey Max, they are separate. Should I be worried? The ESCs work right now. But could they fail on me mid flight? They are the Kiss 32 ESCs

If they are working, then I agree with Chester on this one.

One thing you can do- do you have a servo tester?
You can try running each ESC separately with a servo tester.
If your ESC's have separate servo leads, plug them into the servo tester and make sure they work for the full throttle range (make sure you take the props off! ). If you dont have a servo tester, you can still test it with a separate RX, plugging each ESC into the throttle port one at a time and testing them that way.
