Yes the Wren 80 sounds like a very good combo and like the simple hookup both electric and fuel with brushless pump and starter , Very much like my JMuntz.

Took the R54 out today with hopes of test flying the new turbine.

One retract wouldn't come down. And air was leaking somewhere. So I’ll have to go over everything and try again later this week.

I have been running a sim jet 2300 for the last ten years ,having no problems with the air frame

Just thought I’d post that I’ve flown the Reaction several times with the Wren 80 since the conversion.

Awesome! The take offs and verticals are insane. A bit faster in level flight but not wild.

The combo makes an already great sport plane that much better.

Fuel usage is a similar - no longer running wide open 90% of the time.
