Battery mounting

Finally got my fuselage mounted, many many thanks to HAL9KPCM ( Dave Z ). Hovered in the carport for a few minutes -18 so so did not stay out for very long. But this is the only way the battery can sit and still let me get the front fuselage on. Any ideas on a way to get the battery mount down lower?

Re: Battery mounting

Ahhh, that's what the bolts were for. Glad to help!

Re: Battery mounting

Had to put two spacers in to move the rear fin away from the tail rotor tube. The stock ones were 1/8 inch too short. Again thanks Dave.

Re: Battery mounting

If you extend the plywood base forward, maybe you could mount the battery sideways on it.

Re: Battery mounting

Perhaps mod the front wood spacer to allow for the battery to slide in under the main frame?
