2mm Carbon fibre rods alternative?

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
Hello Everyone,
I am building my first RC aircraft and I need a 2mm carbon fibre rod for the tail (330mm min.). I cannot find a 2mm carbon fibre rod in stock anywhere online in canada. Is there any alternative I can use use instead of carbon fibre that is easier to obtain or if anyone knows any websites or local shops near montreal that would also help.
Thank you.

Are these for the braces? If so you may not be limited to that diameter and can work with either larger C/F, piano wire or hardened metal control rods, (although the latter may be much too heavy).

They have square 2 and 3mm
https://thunderboltrc.com/index.php?...ort=20a&page=2

I have some 2mm lengths here but the shipping for just them will be 3 times what they are worth.
