Re: Indoor Combat
Is that tape on the leading edge or a layer or two of foam? Is there an RCGROUPS thread?

Go to " flying wing CG calculator" at fwcg.3dzonedk & enter 18 for wing span, 11 for root chord, 2 for tip cord & 11 for sweep. Add a tapered leading edge doubler, two tails, add guts from a single cell champ & place battery , motor anywhere to balance the plane in the c/g indicated on the site.. Reverse the prop, if making it a pusher we have also used the same basic plane & made it 2 cell, heavier, not as maneuverable, but fast !! If coming to Paris I will give you retired plane to copy.

But when we did use them we just taped the streamers to the bottom just ahead of the rudder.

Re: Indoor Combat
We use crepe paper streamers more for effect & to help find the remains in the corn or bean field when flying 3 cell combat outdoors.
The main intention is to destroy the other guys plane lol

Re: Indoor Combat
Yeah... same at Cobble (outdoor). LIRC indoor combat - we usually just run the school's dust mop around the room to find the planes' bits
