Hey Guys,

Just to let everyone know, the dates below are now confirmed and locked in. The town has also agreed to give us First Right of refusal on the Sept date if we need to move the date due to forest fire conditions.

The dates will be:

May 28-31st Cancelled

August 27 to 30th.

Alternate fall dates if we have to cancel August due to forest fires will be Sept 24-27

For alternate "play" dates, we'll be doing this on a case by case basis and it will be "user funded" - ie those who go that day will split the cost to the town.

I've also been looking into a restaurant business in town who can cater a pilots dinner at the field for us at a reasonable price for the spring event and think I've found a good option. We'll still do some pot luck for desserts, etc. Lets hope we don't have to put up the wind blinds again like in the fall. That pig roast was awesome but man was that chilly....

We do have some shirts left from last Fall's events for 20.00 mailed to you.

Should be a good year!

Re: Princeton Jets 2020 Dates

Sadly gents, the Covid-19 has forced a cancellation of the June event. At this point, we still expect the August event to go ahead but .....

That's a real shame. Do understand though. Fingers crossed for a good August event! Stay safe everyone.

Re: Princeton Jets 2020 Dates

Very disappointing turn of events!

However, at this point, Tofield is still a go, ( July 9-12) if anyone is looking to burn some kero.....

Re: Princeton Jets 2020 Dates

Thanks for the update Paul, looking forward to the August event.

I recently received permission to fly at the Sparwood Airport, once the pandemic is over I will get some information out. This is a MAAC approved flying site
