Building the trawler Maggie M

Hi guys,
a few weeks ago I started building the Maggie M. Please find attached a few pictures of the progress.
So far hardly anything of the superstructure is actually mounted yet. Just waiting for warmer weather to paint outside. She will be equipped with navigation lights, RAM foghorn sound system and a rotating radar. Power will be supplied by one 12V 4.4 Ah lead battery. The Motor is a 795 3000rpm at 12V and a 40mm brass prop.

Wilhelm,
Looking good. Please give more information about her. Is this a kit, scratch? How big is she?

Re: Building the trawler Maggie M

Hi Jonathan,
it is a kit made by "modelslipway" (modelslipway.com) in England. She is 85 cm long. You can find more information at their website.

Re: Building the trawler Maggie M

Here are a few more picture. I did finish the interior of the wheelhouse and made up a few more items for the superstructure. Most of the items are not mounted on the deck yet.

Re: Building the trawler Maggie M

Wow. I really love the interior detail.

You should run an FPV setup from the interior of the wheelhouse with the camera set up on a pan servo. Operating the boat that way would look so amazing through FPV goggles!
