thank you all for the above info. i think it might be a fuel supply issue because after the last deadstick there was absolutely no fuel in the line after thirty seconds of flying. i will replace the tank and try again this weekend. this plane got well used this summer(in excess of 350 flights!!), and aside from blowing the rear bearings, the plane and motor have performed well. cheers, john

Check for vibration - foaming of tank!

Hey you been flying fine all summer - Well things vibrate loose slowly!

#1 Check all the nut/bolts around the engine and firewall! Tighten them up! If you find loose screws you getting engine vibration. - Check balance of prop/spinner etc.

#2 Watch the tank for foaming while engine is running if foaming occurs - you get air in the fuel line. Time to gets some padding around the tank to stop the models vibrations.

#3 I've seen people add a few drops of Armor All Tire cleaner spray into a gallon of fuel and they say the teflon stops the foaming (ie chemistry thing) Not sure how safe Teflon from Armour All effects an engine when its burned.

Check that the muffler pressure line or nipple is not clogged. It takes awhile to use up the air in the tank then it will no longer allow fuel to flow.

Isn't is amazing how much frustration can be solved with a new $8.00 fuel tank?

Glad to hear you got it working right! I've had several TT 46 Pro engines and they are great little engines!

Happy flying!
