Again, not contest caliber, but simple sport fun.. and if you get it trimmed out nicely and haven't done this stuff before you could be pleasantly surprised I think. Or it could go poorly and you decide that catapult gliders are stupid.. hey anything can happen..

BTW I use two loops of 1/8" rubber because I'm out of 1/4", but I think a 10" or so loop of 1/4" will get you up 40-50'.

I noted the trim adjustments for a right hand launcher - you aim upwards 50-60 degrees, and tilt right to 60-70 degrees, then massage technique from there. First of course, hand launches to establish trim and balance.
