I'm sure it'll go as well as the rest of the build has.
If it helps (and i'm sure you know looking at the great job so far) I find if you keep the heat of the iron fairly low it gives you more time to work and doesn't cause "premature shrink". (read whatever you want into that)

I cut a hole in the tail section and epoxied 2oz of weight in the tail section.
I use to shorten the nose from 1 to 2 inches and the fuel tank would come back in the fuselage, just had to cut out the former for the tank to side through. You can also lengthen the fuselage 1 inch.
This really helped balancing, nothing worse than adding weight to a airplane.

A little more progress tonight. I have the sides finished off. I just have the horizontal stab and the buttom before the fuselage is done.

Re: Second kit build for me - Scat Cat

I removed the white u shaped striping on the side of the fuselage. It just looked out of place so I will fill it with something else. I finished covering the horizontal stab, rudder and elevator. I made a mistake when I assembled the vertical stab. I should have installed it further up on the fuselage so the rudder did not interfere with the elevator. Instead I cut the rudder at an angle to clear the elevator.

Re: Second kit build for me - Scat Cat

I am down to the home stretch. I finished the underside of the fuselage and covering the wing. I tried a few techniques and I had trouble with the underside of the wing. I overlapped the colors a 1/4" but they separated in a couple of spots. I will chock it up to learning. Overall I am pleased with how it turned out.

Re: Second kit build for me - Scat Cat

The elevator and rudder servo were mounted behind the wing. The remaining servos, switch, Rossi 40 and fuel tank were installed. Using my cutter I made up some decals. I will get an all up weight measurement. I just had to add 2oz to the tail for get the cg. Now I can pull the engine and put it on my engine stand to tune the pipe.
