I would like to have a swap meet at my place again
Will people come? I don't know, hence the poll
For a date I am thinking later in September, maybe the 19th
Our local health unit here has no problem with this event
Everyone must wear a mask
I will have hand sanitizer everywhere
Tables will be inside my shop, just not as many as last year
There will be several tents outside with tables as well
If any local clubs would like to have a table let me know

No health worries / reasons on my part about attending such an event. I'd be perfectly comfy (happier, actually) with no masks on anyone present. (maybe the health unit not so much...)

Hi Joel:
So what exactly is the purpose of your post?
To attend my event you will need to wear a mask. If you feel ill stay home. If you have been in contact with anyone ill stay home.
Many of us do not share your sentiment. I am healthy, lucky me and I am older, no reason to flirt with disease, take no chances. First and foremost I want everyone to to feel safe at my event and remain healthy.

I am sorry if that came across as disrespectful, unfeeling, or similar. I accept that you can set the rules for your event, and that HU compliance is in order. Basically I was saying "if you are putting out feelers to see if folks are comfortable attending in spite of 'the Rona,' my answer is yes, I personally would be completely comfortable." I shouldn't have hinted at my mask thoughts in this context... there's a time and place for that but this is a swap meet thread.

All the best with your event. I'd love to attend some time; looks like other items are interfering and it won't work this year.
